I'm never disappointed when i have a meal here. Everything is always delicious and fresh. I do miss their family style meal combo but we just order everything separately. Service was good even when its packed and the inside is always clean. I usually get Pho and an avocado shake. We also ordered the spring rolls which are always fresh and hot. This place is definitely my favorite Vietnamese spot in the area. Check them out!

Great quail special. Pho and shrimp summer rolls are solid. Good service. Family run. Clean restaurant and a big fish tank to keep kids entertained. Great for large groups.

We have tried numerous places such as philly, maryland, vegas, miami and la.... A tasty bowl of bun bue hue or bun rieu would do the magic in winters even in summers Especially comments coming from asian who love asian food and with a very high standard of broth, This place def has very good bun rieu, and super tasty crispy spring roll even we had to drive 1 hour 30 mins, it was worth it!

We ordered take out and had the #11 (Pho) and #70 (pork chop over rice) and both were delicious!! The spring rolls were also tasty! Friendly staff for pick up and the ambiance seemed nice with what seemed to be lots of locals. Overall great place if you're looking for some Vietnamese cuisine. Great portions as well!

Pretty decent viet spot at a great price point. Banh cuon was ok, rice roll was pretty thin with good texture and flavor, but could have used a little more filling. Presentation kind of hides the main component of the dish though. Pho broth had good flavor and depth, albeit tasted a bit like msg. Meat cuts were plentiful, good texture on the noodles, with your typical side of fresh greens. Quick and attentive service, with plenty of seats for smaller and larger crowds. Definitely not the prettiest decor, similar to other typical viet restaurants.

We decided to come back here for dinner. We haven't been back here since COVID began. The place had a few tables occupied when we came here, but we were immediately seated. We ordered #95 Salmon Fish deep cooked with VN sauce. This was claypot fish and it was delicious but very sweet. Haven't had this in a long time and I loved it. We also ordered #103 Sautéed Squid with lemongrass. This was delicious as well. The lemongrass was nice and fragrant. So, the squid with lemongrass combination was delicious. Daughter had the #88 Grilled pork chop, fried egg and Chinese sausage over rice. She usually likes ordering this entree. Again, this entree didn't disappoint her. Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu!

My family's go-to pho place when we're home in NJ. They have a huge selection of food (noodles, soups, rice dishes) to choose from on their menu and everything is reasonably priced. Service is also fast and very accommodating. What I got: - Spring Rolls: 4.5/5 - Always a staple here. Wrap this bad boy in some lettuce and it's out of this world. Giving it a 4.5 because I wish there were more filling or more spring rolls that came with it. - Fried Squid: 5/5 - This is so different from typical calamari. The sauces they have on this dish makes it so flavorful and unique. Fried to perfection, but the squid inside is still chewy and fresh. - Pho: 4/5 - This pho always hits the spot, especially on a cold or rainy day. The broth is always perfect, but meat can be hit or miss. Sometimes it can be a little overcooked. Always a good dining experience here, but I tend to always order the same few things. I definitely have to come back and order some other items to try out.

Nothing beats the cold weather like a good soup (ramen or pho, can't go wrong with either). They greet you at this restaurant with a nice kettle of hot herbal tea and a smile. I ordered my pho and in less than 5 minutes I received it. Plate was nicely hot and the meats were cooked (directly in the broth) to perfection. Portions are big and prices are right. They have plenty of tables and the ambiance was nice and overall quiet.

If you are in the South Amboy area and craving Vietnamese food, please stop by Pho Da Nang. It's a family run restaurant and in recent years, we all know how important it is to support local business! Came by here one evening with my family. They have plenty of seats for indoor dining. There were a good amount of people dining in for the dinner crowd. I must say that the staff was still attentive and quick to serve food. Noticed others brought their own bottles of wine. Found out this place is BYOB, which is always a plus in my book. We ordered a variety of different foods to share and sample. Appetizers - summer rolls and spring rolls were both very good. Spring rolls were crispy and fried to perfection. Beef banhmi was more filling than expected and the beef was very flavorful. Highly recommend all of them. Pho - I forgot which number I ordered but it was good. I feel like it might've been #11 because I do recall it having beef and tripe in it. It wasn't piping hot as I expected, but it was still pretty good nonetheless. Bo luc lac - beef was well marinated and tender. Wasn't over cooked. Can't go wrong with this and white rice. My family enjoyed their vermicelli dishes. I didn't get to taste it but I can assume they were good. If you love Vietnamese coffee, please order one for yourself. They personally drip their coffee so it's fresh (and strong, just how I like it!). They offer bubble tea as well, but I didn't get a chance to try it. Btw, there's plenty of parking since it is located in a strip. It is located right off route 9 so it is conveniently accessible. Overall, very good experience dining here. I recommend 4.5/5 simply bc I feel like I need to try more of their food since their menu is sooo extensive. Would definitely dine again if I have time when I visit NJ again.

After a morning of apple-picking, I was searching for a lunch spot and I know my family loves Vietnamese, so I found Pho Da Nang along the route home. We came in on the Sunday during LDW at around 1:30. Luckily, it was pretty empty, and they were able to accommodate 8 people. To start, we shared the Banh Cuon Cha Lua (steamed rice rolls with Vietnamese ham), two of the banh mis (grilled pork), and some spring rolls. The steamed rice rolls were just okay. It wasn't really that hot. The banh mis were fine. The bread was good, but I wish they had other filling options because the grilled pork just tasted like whatever grilled pork you'd get over rice or vermicelli. The spring rolls were really good. They did it properly with the rice paper and we ended up getting another order. For food, I went with the grilled beef rolls and cha gio over vermicelli. I don't know why I keep ordering beef rolls because I'm usually disappointed by it, no matter the restaurant and this time was no different. It was pretty dry. Luckily, I had the spring rolls to make up for it. I also made up for it by trying (most of) everyone else's dishes around me. The pho was great - I loved the broth and as soon as I tasted it (and after I tasted the dry ass beef), I wished I had ordered that. My husband had some combo rice plate and honestly, you can't go wrong with a rice plate. I LOVE Vietnamese broken rice but I love noodles more, so I always count on someone else to order a rice dish, so that I can eat some of that too and so far, that method has been working pretty well. Overall, it's a pretty solid Vietnamese option. Since I don't live nearby, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit again - but if I did, I think this place would be one of my go-tos.
